Just before the world shut down, I felt like I needed something in my life. That thing was creativity. Over the last few years I had lost myself to motherhood. I had forgotten what it felt like to live for myself, not just other people. I decided to start making earrings, like I had when I was a kid with my mother. It made me feel closer to her, and closer to myself as well.
I have never been able to settle on one design aesthetic. As you can see, some days I want to frolic in a field of daisies, and the next I want to be 18 years old at a rave, then the next day I want to be in 1980 as a Wall Street icon or lawyer. I'm really all over the place.
Most importantly, I have fun. I don't take myself too seriously.
